Jericho Hill by Crowned Heads
Entry number four by Crowned heads is Jericho Hill, and this one has a lot going for it, above and beyond an intriguing backstory. The name refers to the town in Johnny Cash's song, Cocaine Blues.
The wrapper on this great-looking stick is one of my all-time favorites - San Andres Maduro, and it's influence in Jericho Hill is prominent. The binder and filler blend hail from Nicaragua, which might give you an indication that this is heading someplace tasty. There's espresso and cocoa, earth and wood that are on the forefront, with pepper and other sweet spices underneath. This medium-full gem is another jewel for Crowned Heads.
